About Us

Hi, we are Madison and Simone,

two mothers dedicated to providing all natural alternatives amidst a chemical and toxin filled world. The two girls you see above are our daughters and our inspiration, Oakley and Islah (Oak and I). 

Our name portrays the relationship between nature and us

Oak = Oakley (10) and also represents the Native Titoki Tree which grows prominently in our area. Many refer to the Titoki tree as New Zealand Oak. I = Islah (8) and us as a human species. 

The seed was planted as we sat around the table …

watching our daughters play and discussing our mutual frustration with not being able to find natural skin care that met our needs.

Madison (co-founder) had been suffering from allergies for many years and was ready to cut down the amount of toxins and chemicals in her life. Simone (co-founder) grew up with a father who had a great passion and knowledge of plants and their benefits, so opting for natural products had always been the norm.

Wasting no time, we quickly began researching and testing different formulas. Concentrating on making natural and effective products that bring simplicity to a sometimes chaotic life.

Choosing to live mindfully and take little steps to ensure the preservation of our beautiful planet for future generations was the push behind being a no waste business.
